THE BOOTS
Vintage 1950s Frye cowboy boots in black leather, featuring red starburst flowers with ivory centers, elongated ivory inlays and contrasting green and cream stitching around the shafts. The floral decoration appears on both the front and back, with curved stitching connecting the individual elements. Deeply scalloped tops edged in ivory frame the design, while the plain black vamps keep the focus on the decorated shafts. Finished with narrow snip toes, low stacked heels and leather soles, this pair has a compact Western profile in a men’s size 12 B.
WHY WE LOVE THEM
The combination of red flowers, ivory inlays and fine green stitching gives these Fryes distinctive detail without overwhelming the black leather. The shorter shafts and narrow snip toes complement the restrained proportions of the design.
