1950s • JUAREZ BOOT SHOP • Butterfly & Floral Inlay • Men’s 12 EE
WHY WE LOVE THEM
An outstanding pair of 1950s cowboy boots made by the Juarez Boot Shop in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, featuring a distinctive butterfly and floral design originally introduced by Hyer in the early 1950s.
These boots feature vibrant royal blue and golden yellow leather shafts with elaborate butterfly inlays, floral accents, multicolored decorative stitching, and contrasting yellow piping. The combination of bold colors and intricate leatherwork is an excellent example of the decorative Western bootmaking styles popular during the 1950s.
The black leather vamps feature sharply pointed toes, traditional Western heels, and decorative toe stitching. Particularly appealing is the preservation of the original design, with beautifully aged leather and decades of natural character.
A remarkable example of midcentury Western footwear and the craftsmanship coming out of the renowned bootmaking community of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.
