1970s Laramie Cowboy Boots — White with Gold Inlay & Monogram “R” — Women’s 7 B

A head-turning pair of vintage Laramie cowboy boots in crisp white leather with gold metallic inlay work and elaborate gold and tan contrast stitching. These boots were clearly custom-ordered or personalized — each boot features a bold gold leather script “R” monogram inlaid into the back of the shaft, making them a truly one-of-a-kind piece of 1970s Western fashion.

The entire boot is constructed from smooth white leather with a soft, slightly pebbled grain texture on the shaft and a smoother finish on the vamp. White boots were a bold fashion statement in the 1970s — the era of rhinestone cowboys, country music glamour, and rodeo queens — and these deliver that energy in full.

The shaft features an intricate overlay and inlay design executed in gold metallic leather, outlined with dense rows of tan and gold contrast stitching. The pattern is angular and graphic — sharp, wing-like shapes and pointed chevrons radiate outward from the center seam on both the front and sides, giving the design an almost thunderbird-like quality. The gold metallic leather pieces are true inlays, cut and sewn flush into the white shaft, catching light and adding dimension. The back of each boot showcases the large “R” monogram in the same gold metallic leather — a custom touch that suggests these were made for a specific owner, possibly for rodeo competition or performance.

The collar has a dramatic notched scallop at the front and back, with white leather pull tabs at the top on each side. The vamp features horizontal toe wrinkle stitching in tan thread — multiple rows of fine parallel lines across the toe area with a small decorative diamond motif, a classic 1970s Western detail.

The toe is a pointed Western profile with a slightly squared tip. The heel is a chunky, stacked black Western heel — approximately 1.75 inches — solid and practical. The sole is leather, showing moderate wear with darkening at the ball and heel areas. The black rubber heel caps remain intact and functional.

The interior is lined in tan leather with a fabric upper lining. The Laramie brand stamp is clearly visible inside the shaft, along with factory codes “24027 6 270 R.” The construction is solid throughout — the boots stand upright on their own and the structure remains firm after five decades.

Overall condition is good vintage. The white leather shows creasing across the vamp and minor scuffing/soiling — typical for white boots of this age. The gold inlay pieces remain intact and bright. There are some surface marks and light discoloration, but nothing that detracts from the overall presentation.
