The Boots
A playful, eye-catching pair of vintage Justin cowgirl boots that bring the desert to life on your feet. Warm cognac roughout suede vamps are paired with vivid turquoise leather shafts featuring bold dark green prickly-pear cactus inlays — complete with yellow cactus-flower blooms and stitched thorns radiating from each pad. It’s a Southwestern scene rendered in leather: cheerful, colorful, and impossible to ignore.
The cactus design wraps 360 degrees around each shaft — front, back, and sides — with multiple cactus pads stacked vertically in dark green leather, their bumpy, organic shapes outlined in tonal stitching against the bright turquoise background. Small yellow leather flower inlays bloom from the tops and sides of the cacti, and radiating thorn stitchwork extends outward from each pad for authentic desert detail. The cognac roughout suede vamps have a soft, textured nap and a sharp snip toe, finished on a stacked Western heel. The “JUSTIN BOOTS” embroidered pull straps at the collar confirm the maker, and the interior is leather-lined.
Condition
These boots are in good vintage condition with honest wear. The cognac roughout suede vamps show the natural wear and soft patina suede develops over time — some scuffing and light soiling at the toes consistent with use (see photos). The turquoise leather shafts are vibrant with the dark green cactus inlays and yellow flowers all intact and securely stitched; there is some light surface crackling/aging on the turquoise leather consistent with vintage wear. As shown in the sole photos, the leather soles display honest wear from use but remain solid, and the stacked heels show wear with rubber heel caps intact. Overall a well-loved, structurally sound pair with plenty of life and color left.
