This vintage Lucchese pair combines two very different kinds of detail: glossy black lizard through the vamps and a large-scale floral composition across the shafts. Red roses, green stems and leaves climb over black leather, with additional red scrollwork near the tops and scalloped red collars finishing the design. The black base keeps the bright inlays crisp rather than overly busy, while the snip toe gives the exotic lower half a clean profile. It is an unusually decorative Lucchese, but the color placement feels deliberate from toe to collar.
Why We Love Them
The rose design has enough scale to read immediately, yet the smaller green stems, buds and collar details reward a closer look. Pairing that colorful shaft work with black lizard gives the boots a much stronger contrast than a conventional floral-inlay pair.

Good vintage condition with honest wear. Black lizard remains glossy and well defined, with light scuffing and wear at the toes. Leather shafts show creasing consistent with use, while the rose, stem and scroll inlays remain vibrant, secure and intact. Leather soles show moderate to heavy wear and the stacked heels show normal use.
