A beautiful pair of vintage M.L. Leddy’s boots showcasing an elegant climbing tulip vine inlay design in a timeless black, ivory, and cognac color scheme. From one of the most respected custom bootmaking houses in Texas history, these boots combine masterful hand-laid inlay work with the kind of quality construction that has made the Leddy name legendary for over a century.
The tall shafts are crafted from rich black leather, hand-inlaid with a graceful climbing vine of ivory/cream leather tulips and leaves that winds elegantly up both the front and back of each boot. The tulip-and-leaf cutwork is precise and dimensional — each blossom and leaf individually cut and set into the black leather, then outlined with fine gray stitching that defines every shape. The scalloped ivory leather collar at the top continues the two-tone interplay, and a thin cognac/rust accent piping runs down the front seam, tying in the warm tone of the vamps below.
The vamps are smooth cognac/saddle tan leather with a sharp pointed snip toe, creating a striking three-tone composition — black, ivory, and cognac — that’s both classic and eye-catching. The boots sit on a stacked leather heel at a flattering height. The interior is leather-lined and bears the M.L. Leddy’s markings.

Condition
These boots are in good vintage condition with honest wear. The black, ivory, and cognac leathers remain supple and the colors strong.
